READY FOR THE MOMENT.
Tactical UAS and counter-UAS requirements cover different audiences, tasks and levels of maturity. A useful discussion starts by defining the training need before selecting a system or approach.

Be precise about the requirement
Identify who needs to train, the knowledge or coordination task to be rehearsed and the environment in which learning will be delivered. Instruction, system familiarisation, simulated information and team decision-making can each require a different training approach. The scope should make these distinctions clear.
Distinguish delivery from development
Nautilus welcomes discussion of tactical UAS and counter-UAS training requirements alongside emerging simulation and development options. Proposed capabilities should be described according to what is available, what can be configured and what requires development or validation. An emerging option should not be presented as an established operational capability.
Connect specialist support where appropriate
Specialist instruction, systems integration and technical support may form part of an agreed training package. Define the equipment, interfaces, delivery responsibilities and evidence needed to assess suitability. Where simulation is proposed, establish which behaviours or decisions it represents and how instructors will review performance. This creates a clear basis for scoping the requirement and considering the next practical step.
