Nautilus are pleased to introduce the Heavy Weapon Machine Gun Simulator The remotely operated heavy weapon machine gun simulator can audibly and visually replicate adjustable rates of gunfire. With three interchangeable barrels the HW-MGS can be remotely operated up to 800m away and realistically simulate both the sound and muzzle flash of .50 Calibre gunfire, 7.62mm and 5.56mm gunfire. The system is lightweight, back pack-able, man portable and can be …Read More
The Atmospheric Sound Box Simulator – ASBS is a remotely operated sound system that can play sound files of any description, over radio frequency, up to 4KM away. Sound files such as dogs barking, fire alarms and sirens, crowded street noise or gunfire can all be simulated at the touch of a button. With an external USB 2.0 port any sound files can be quickly uploaded to produce the desired …Read More
To extend our capabilities and enable efficient support for simulations we have created in-house tools to improve upon the foundations of VBS to give us greater control and efficiency. Toolbox 2.0 brings many improvements to VBS’s functionality so that we are providing the best real-time accurate simulations to mimic real life. This allows us to do much more in an efficient manner such as grouping units into formations, getting in and out …Read More
Nautilus are pleased to announce the launch of a new medical simulation technology, in the form of a high fidelity simulation mannequin, called SimMan 3G Trauma. SimMan significantly enhances medical training for the Defence, Emergency Services and other first responders by simulating the exact clinical signs and symptoms for a multitude of injuries. This new capability not only tests the first person on scene Patrol or Para Medic at the …Read More
To enhance the current Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) simulation training, Nautilus International, in conjunction with VSS, has significantly invested into procuring Laser Range Finder Binoculars, Laser Target Designator and IR pointer for night Close Air Support training.
To complement and increase the current MOD JTAC training, Nautilus has invested in Sony’s Ultra High Definition projectors and provides the latest in display technology. This enables the JTAC to positively identify objects within simulated environments contained in VBS3 with ultra realism. New 4K standard + 60 frames per second – The projector can show up to 60 frames per second at 4K . This new 4K industry standard has much higher …Read More
The VIPER Firearms Training System offers a high quality training capability either on or off range, with the ability to fire Live, Simunition/Paint or Laser at Virtual Reality software. The system is currently being used by UK civil services and shortly the UK MOD. Nautilus International are working exclusively with Dann Developments in the UK and with Viper Software to provide these pioneering capabilities.
This July, Matthew, our C4ISTAR Manager will be completing a solo charity bike ride to raise funds to relieve ex-military members or their dependants who are in need by virtue of financial hardship, injury or sickness. The journey will cover 150 miles on the first day, followed by 80 miles on day 2, finishing up with 150 miles on day 3. If you would like to sponsor Matthew, please follow …Read More
Nautilus International successfully supported Simulation Displays at ITEC 2014. Nautilus demonstrated simulated JTAC (Joint Terminal Attack Controller) scenarios, using the Simulation Display JTAC dome and the Cobra pilot station dome.
Nautilus has joined the Virtual Battle Space Developer Network (VBSDN) to facilitate the production of in-house assets and terrain for synthetic training simulations. The VBS platform, developed by Bohemia Interative Simulations, allows for realistic training scenarios in safe and cost-effective virtual environment.
